What inspires your love of music?
Childhood piano and flute lessons led to high school band membership and solo performances. Making music fostered my deep desire to listen to and learn across many music types.
What initially drew you to the CSO?
After getting my hearing back via a cochlear implant following 18 years of profound hearing loss, attendance at CSO concerts began filling up the hole in my heart that existed while I was deprived of music. I was drawn to the best music by the best orchestra.
Why do you feel it’s important to support the CSO as a member of the Theodore Thomas Society?
From an early age, music provided an important foundation for the rest of my life. I support the CSOA to provide lifelong opportunities for others to make and appreciate music far into the future.
