Daniil Trifonov

Nov 17, 2024

Overview

Launching his tenure as the CSO’s Artist-in-Residence, Daniil Trifonov shows why he’s “arguably the mightiest of the under-40 generation of superstar pianists” (The New York Times). Trifonov’s virtuosity is given free rein in Tchaikovsky’s spellbinding works, the brooding, poetic waltzes of Chopin and the propulsive brilliance of Barber’s Sonata.
