Overview

Artists from the legendary CSO Brass section, known for their distinctive rich sonorities and spectacular power that define the “Chicago Sound,” perform an afternoon of chamber music. Their program features exuberant favorites, such as Leonard Bernstein’s effervescent Overture to Candide and Malcom Arnold’s virtuosic Quintet for Brass, Op. 73, as well as intricate arrangements of early music by Bach and Telemann.
