CSO Brass Quintet Plays Bach & More

May 14, 2024

Overview

Known for its ongoing legacy of excellence, the CSO Brass Quintet has been performing at near-capacity events for decades. Its mission, says quintet member and CSO Principal Trumpet Esteban Batallán, is “to make sure that the tradition of the CSO brass … prevails and stays alive for generations to come.” The ensemble brings a glorious display of skill to a program including Fred Mills’ arrangement of Bach’s richly detailed Toccata, Adagio and Fugue in C Major and Verne Reynolds’ jubilant Suite for Brass.
