Salon Series: Masterclass with Jennifer Gunn

Jun 7, 2023

Overview

Music education is an integral pillar in the mission of the CSO and an important duty to many of the CSO’s musicians. Each year, students from the Chicago Musical Pathways Initiative and members of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago are coached and mentored by musicians of the CSO.

In this exclusive masterclass, Jennifer Gunn, the Dora and John Aalbregtse Piccolo Chair, will mentor young musicians as they perform well-known orchestral and solo repertoire. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the techniques that musicians use inside the practice room to help prepare them for the stage.
