Step into nature’s realm in this program that explores depictions of the natural world. Join Richard Strauss for an epic hike in the Bavarian Alps, complete with a majestic sunrise, a cattle pasture and a fierce storm. Mead Composer-in-Residence Jessie Montgomery offers a lively meditation on the cycles of life and nature, while Antonín Dvořák evokes the forested countryside of his Czech homeland.
