About Teen Night
Teen night is an annual event hosted by the CSO Student Ambassadors that brings teens from across Chicagoland together to enjoy classical music.
The inaugural Teen Night took place on February 10, 2025, prior to the Civic Orchestra of Chicago concert featuring works by French composers Lili Boulanger, Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy.
Over 100 teens gathered in Buntrock Hall at Symphony Center to enjoy pizza and treats, learn more about the themes of the evening’s musical program through an interactive gallery and visit information tables run by Chicago teen arts organizations.
Teen representatives from these organizations then participated in a panel discussion which covered topics such as being inspired and balancing responsibilities.
Teen Night Tickets
Teen Night tickets become available two weeks before the date of the event and cost $5 for teens and any accompanying adults or children. A ticket is required to access the evening’s event and concert. No separate ticket or RSVP is required for the Teen Night preconcert event.
Teen Night Attendees
We recommend people ages 13-19 attend Teen Night. Stay tuned for more information about alternative places for accompanying adults and children to gather during the Teen Night preconcert event. CSO staff members, a Symphony Center House Manager and ushers will be managing and supervising the event.
Questions about Teen Night can be directed to Patron Services by email at patronservices@cso.org or by phone at 312-294-3000.
