Teen Night at Symphony Center

Stay tuned for the 2025/26 Season Teen Night announcement.

About Teen Night

The 2024/25 Season marked the official launch of Symphony Center’s first ever Teen Night — a preconcert event hosted by the CSO Student Ambassadors that brings teens from across Chicagoland together to enjoy classical music.

The 2024/25 Teen Night took place on February 10, 2025 prior to the Civic Orchestra of Chicago concert featuring works by French composers Lili Boulanger, Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy.

Over 100 teens gathered in Buntrock Hall at Symphony Center to enjoy pizza and treats, learn more about the themes of the evening’s musical program through an interactive gallery and visit information tables run by a Chicago teen arts organizations at the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago Architecture Center, Chicago Musical Pathways Initiative, Chicago Public Library, Hyde Park Art Center, Intuit Art Museum, ISPro Academy, Steppenwolf Theatre and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Teen representatives from these organizations then participated in a panel discussion which covered topics such as being inspired and balancing responsibilities.
