Judy Bressler

Judy Bressler recorded as a special guest singer in 2015 with Yale Strom and Hot Pstromi presents “City of the Future: Yiddish Songs From the Former Soviet Union.” A founding member of Boston’s Klezmer Conservatory Band, she is the featured vocalist on all 10 of the band’s discs.

A third-generation Yiddish performer, she was seen in the PBS documentary film “A Jumpin’ Night in the Garden of Eden” and was featured with Joel Grey in “Borscht Capades ’94.” She has been part of the revue In The Fiddler’s House with Itzhak Perlman and company since 1996, including the first studio album and the second album recorded live at Radio City Music Hall, along with concerts in Mexico City, Moscow, Hollywood Bowl. Concerts at Carnegie Hall in 2015 for 100th anniversary of the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene and in 2016 at Symphony Hall, Boston, were all highly memorable events, acclaimed and loved by critics and audiences alike.
