He began his collegiate study at Oberlin College and Conservatory as a double-degree student and then continued his education at University of Maryland, College Park, where he graduated with his bachelor of music degree, cum laude. In 2023, he received his master of music degree in violin performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, where he studied with Cornelius Chiu of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Almita Vamos.
Past festival experience includes the Chautauqua Institution, Credo Mahler Project, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, Interlochen Center for the Arts, National Music Festival and Red Rocks Winter Institute.
In addition to his engagements with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, he also holds a section position with the South Bend Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Illinois Philharmonic.
Outside the concert hall, Musachio maintains a private studio of young violinists and teaches privately at the British International School of South Loop, Chicago.
