What inspires your love of music?
Music helps overcome the harsh sounds of the world. It relaxes and comforts those who hear it.
What initially drew you to the CSO?
Friends who shared their subscription concerts with Frank first got him interested. The inspiring sounds of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra made him want to become a CSO subscriber so that he could continue to enjoy concerts on a regular basis. Lilly is an enthusiastic jazz fan, so they also are subscribers to the Symphony Center Presents Jazz series.
Why do you feel it’s important to support the CSOA as a member of the Theodore Thomas Society?
Music — the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and jazz at Symphony Center — needs to be supported so that future generations can enjoy what we have now.
