The GM Member Engagement Committee invites you to an unforgettable evening with Zell Music Director Designate Klaus Mäkelä at our annual Behind the Curtain event on Wednesday, April 23.
This is a rare and exclusive opportunity to engage with Mäkelä, one of the most electrifying and sought-after conductors of his generation. At just 29 years old, he is set to take the podium as the youngest Music Director in CSO history. In an intimate conversation with CSOA President Jeff Alexander, Mäkelä will share his artistic journey, his vision for the orchestra’s future and what excites him most about leading one of the world’s greatest ensembles.
