Overview

Siamsa na nGael has become a cherished Chicago tradition, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with world class Celtic entertainment. Siamsa 2026 celebrates the 180-year legacy of Old St. Patrick’s Church, from immigrant roots to its role in today’s Chicago, through story, dance, and music-honoring its Irish heritage, commitment to social action, and future vision. This historic and powerful story will be told through song, music, and dance.The tales will be hosted and celebrated through performances by soloists, Chicago’s own Irish diva Catherine O’Connell and nationally acclaimed tenor Devin Desantis; Broadway actress Megan McGinniss, 5-time World Champion Irish Dancers - The Gardiner Brothers, The Leo High School Choir, by the Metropolis Symphony Orchestra, the Old St. Patrick’s Choir, the step dancing of the Trinity Irish Dance, an Irish Trad Band.

Tickets are $40-$75 and are sold through the Symphony Center Box Office at 312-294-3000 or cso.org beginning February 3. Tickets purchased at Symphony Center include an additional $10 fee. Post performance and sponsorship packages are available by calling 312-798-2348.
