Overview

The Joliet West Symphonic Band, Joliet Central Symphonic Band, and the Joliet American Legion Band come together for a special collaborative performance at Symphony Center. This unique concert brings student musicians and one of the region’s long-standing community ensembles onto the same stage to celebrate the power of wind band music and the shared musical traditions of the Joliet community. The program features works by Gustav Holst, Kevin Day, Julie Giroux, Arturo Márquez, and others, culminating in a combined performance of John Philip Sousa’s The Stars and Stripes Forever.
