Overview
This January, Orchestra Hall once again transforms into a runway where couture meets the symphony. Featuring musicians from the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and four visionary Chicago-based designers, The Red Thread invites audiences to an immersive evening where Fashion is scored live.
The production draws inspiration from the ancient idea of an invisible thread that binds us all. In this setting, that thread becomes visible, weaving through fabric and sound, connecting performers, musicians and audience into one living tapestry.
The Red Thread attendees, also have access to a special ticket offer for Fashion Night Out at the CSO on Friday, January 30.
This event is produced by the Overture Council of the CSOA. The Overture Council provides a community for audience members aged 21-45 who share a love of music and a desire to learn more about how to support the CSO.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s educational, community-engagement and artistic programs in the Chicago area and worldwide.
