Bach Marathon Finale

Nov 18, 2024

Overview

J.S. Bach’s genius resonates joyfully in his Brandenburg Concertos, which contain some of the boldest, most sumptuous instrumental writing of the Baroque era. Graceful, swirling melodies for woodwinds intertwine with exuberant string passages and dazzling harpsichord solos. The high spirits continue with Bach’s regal Third Orchestral Suite, featuring the celebrated Air on the G String.
