Overview
CYSO’s flagship Symphony Orchestra—made up of more than 100 of the most talented and dedicated young musicians from across the region—takes the stage at Orchestra Hall on Sunday, May 19 at 7:30 pm. Under the baton of music director Allen Tinkham, Symphony Orchestra musicians will perform works new and beloved including Chicago composer Stacey Garrop’s Pandora Undone, Paganini’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with concerto competition winner Aiden Yu, Stravinsky’s Petrushka, and more. The concert also features CYSO’s Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Kenny Lee. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening with classical music’s brightest young stars!
