Chicago Pro Musica at South Shore Cultural Center

Oct 30, 2022
Chicago Pro Musica

Overview

Chicago Pro Musica, hailed by the Chicago Tribune as “one of the most versatile and artistically accomplished [ensembles] on the American chamber music scene,” presents a free concert of romantic and imaginative works by Mozart, Schumann and Carl Reinecke. Mozart’s Trio contrasts the grace of the clarinet with the gruffness of the viola to evoke smoldering passion, while Schumann’s Märchenerzählungen and Reinecke’s Trio in B-flat Major explore the childlike wonder and drama of fairy tales through playful and dynamic musical motifs.

NEW THIS SEASON: Tickets to CSO Chamber Music concerts become available two weeks prior to each concert.

Tickets are free.
