DePaul University School of Music Spring Concert

May 24, 2022

Overview

We regret to announce the DePaul Symphony Orchestra will not be performing in the second half of the concert due to the spread of Covid-19 within the ensemble. This difficult decision was made in consultation with DePaul University’s Emergency Management Team. We recognize that this is immensely disappointing to our orchestra students and their friends and families in the audience tonight.

We encourage you to keep your plans and join us tonight for an expanded performance from our Jazz Studies students. The students of the DePaul Jazz Workshop will be joined by a jazz quintet, including vocals, all under the direction of Dana Hall, Director of Jazz Studies.

For over 30 years, the DePaul University School of Music’s Spring Concert in Orchestra Hall has been a celebration of the artistry of our students. This year’s concert features two ensembles from the school, the DePaul Jazz Workshop, Dana Hall, director, and the DePaul Symphony Orchestra, Cliff Colnot, conductor.

Concert is free, but ticket required. Limit 8 tickets.
