Before the first of two sold-out concerts at Carnegie Hall in New York City, Chicago Symphony Orchestra musicians took time to visit with friends and family, explore the city and unearth some CSO history in Carnegie Hall’s Susan W. Rose Archives and Museum. Faces lit up with smiles as Maestro Riccardo Muti led them and the evening’s guest violinist, Leonidas Kavakos, in rehearsal at the legendary venue.
