Women’s History Month 2024

March marks Women’s History Month. From early pioneers such as Hildegard of Bingen, twentieth-century composers such as Florence Price, to contemporary conductors such as Susanna Mälkki and performers such as Hélène Grimaud, women have made important contributions to the legacy of classical music and other genres. Here are just a few of their stories.
