This week, Anna Rakitina makes her debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in all-Tchaikovsky program. The program opens with Capriccio Italien, continues with Variations on a Roccoco Theme and Pezzo capriccioso featuring cellist Alisa Weilerstein, and rounds out with Suite from The Nutcracker. Closing the broadcast, Sir Georg Solti conducts Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms.
