Katie Colby has taught at Jones College Preparatory High School since 2017. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in music education and has taught in Chicago Public Schools and Colorado.
Colby is a skilled pianist and versatile vocalist who has taught choir, piano, guitar, general music, modern band and more to all grades K-12. Her goal is for students to leave her classroom with skills they can use to independently create, compose and consume any kind of music.
