World-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and five-time Grammy Award winner Angélique Kidjo come together for Sarabande Africaine — a free outdoor concert at Millennium Park. Join them for a transcendent journey where the classical elegance of the cello meets the vibrant rhythms of West African song, exploring connections that unite cultures and generations.

Admission to the CSOA’s presentation of Sarabande Africaine with Angélique Kidjo and Yo-Yo Ma at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park is free and open to the public. The VIP experience includes a number of reserved seats in the pavilion seating bowl and is the only way to guarantee admission to this special concert. Prime seating is available for a donation of $100 per seat. Seats will be assigned in the rear section of the pavilion. 

Reserve Prime seating

Premium seating is available for a donation of $175 per seat. Seats will be assigned in the front side sections of the pavilion. 

Reserve Premium seating

Platinum seating is available for a donation of $250 per seat. Seats will be assigned in the front center sections of the pavilion.

Your support ensures that this concert is free and open to the public. 

Tickets will be delivered electronically 12 days prior to the concert and are required for entry into the reserved seating area. Donations in support of this concert are non-refundable.  

Reserved seats must be claimed by 6:15 p.m. on the day of the concert; all unclaimed seats will be released to the general public.
