Overview
The young professionals of the Overture Council at the CSOA proudly bring their acclaimed Fashion Show event back to the Orchestra Hall stage at Symphony Center. As part of the Overture Council’s Soundpost event series, this one-of-a-kind experience showcases Chicago’s emerging talent across diverse artistic disciplines.
As each model graces the runway, their movements are accompanied by live music performed by Civic Orchestra of Chicago musicians, creating a captivating fusion of fashion and classical music. Renaissance Remix seeks to bridge generational gaps and redefine the symphony experience, proving that, like fashion, classical music is adaptable, emotive and timelessly relevant.
Proceeds from Renaissance Remix will support the education and community engagement initiatives of the CSOA’s Negaunee Music Institute.

Renaissance Remix: Artistic Statement
Through fashion, music and movement, Renaissance Remix celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the beauty found in both destruction and recreation. It is an invitation to honor the pain and the triumph that define our shared experience and to see the Renaissance within ourselves.
Event Schedule
- 6:30 PM: VIP Reception in Grainger Ballroom (for VIP and fundraising ticket holders)
- 7:00 PM: Doors open for general ticket holders; Welcome Reception in the Symphony Center Rotunda
- 8:00 PM: Fashion Show (Set 1) Orchestra Hall stage
- 8:30 PM: Intermission
- 9:00 PM: Fashion Show (Set 2) Orchestra Hall stage
- 9:30 PM: Fashion Show ends; event attendees are invited to take photos on stage and throughout Orchestra Hall
