Trillium Ensemble Plays Brahms

June 18, 2024

Overview

Brahms engaged the horn in only one chamber-music work. The Trillium Ensemble presents his Horn, Violin and Piano Trio, where the horn takes center stage and summons both its lyrical and dramatic sides. Included in the program is Fauré’s Piano Trio in D Minor — one of the composer’s last works, which features charming and elegant themes — and Reena Esmail’s Saans (Breath), a work infused with elements of North Indian classical music.

Seating options and concert experience

This concert features on-stage and Terrace seating, allowing you to experience the music up close. Both options offer general admission seating on a first-come, first-seated basis. Arrive early to choose your perfect seat!

Transit Alert: Due to the NASCAR Chicago Street Race taking place later this summer, some streets in and around Grant Park may be closed. Please review transit options, leave extra time for travel and plan to arrive early. Visit the NASCAR website for the full street closure plan.
