Higdon’s ’blue cathedral’ conducted by John Storgårds

Guest conductor John Storgårds leads the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in its first performance of Jennifer Higdon’s “blue cathedral,” written in 2000. The Curtis Institute of Music commissioned the work, which Higdon composed as a tribute to her late brother.
