The CSO at Carnegie Hall
Since its opening in 1891, Carnegie Hall has become synonymous with musical achievement. All the greats of classical and popular music have performed on its main stage. And an even greater honor is being selected to launch the Carnegie season. That’s the case this fall as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Riccardo Muti perform two concerts there: the gala opener on Oct. 4 and a second program on Oct. 5.
