The Civic Season

Once again, the 2025/26 season of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago puts an emphasis on diversity, with a variety of works by women and people of color. Ken-David Masur, the Civic’s principal conductor, describes this season’s programming as “normalizing the call to give voice to musicians and composers who perhaps had been neglected.”
