Rossini’s Sonata No. 6 in D Major for String Orchestra

OVERVIEW

Gioachino Rossini was only twelve years old when he composed a set of six string sonatas. His last string sonata is nicknamed La tempesta (The Tempest), which characterizes its stormy finale.
