Daniel Sabzghabaei’s At any rate II. “what remains”

OVERVIEW

At any rate II. “what remains” investigates the first record of traditional Persian music ever published: Volkstümlicher Gesang – Persia, released in 1931. The singing string quartet and persistent spinning of the noisy record player act as a space for reflection on those who’ve come before and what they’ve left behind – a love letter.
