An enthusiastic audience gathered at Symphony Center to hear the virtuosi of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Brass, led by CSO trombone Michael Mulcahy, in their annual recital on Tuesday. In a rich program that highlighted the music of Spain, the musicians displayed their individual and collective strengths with a selection of works arranged for brass ensemble, including Manuel de Falla’s Suite No. 2 from The Three-Cornered Hat and Pablo Casals’ O Vos Omnes.
