An enthusiastic audience filled Symphony Center as multi-platinum selling singer, songwriter and pianist Ben Folds joined members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on stage Wednesday evening. Folds performed original works from several of his albums — including his most recent record What Matters Most — that showcased his incredible ability to compose genre-defying music with enticing storytelling. In conjunction with Folds’ one-night concert, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association honored @abbottglobal as the recipient of the Excellence in Corporate Philanthropy Award, which recognizes an organization for its exceptional support of the CSOA
