Rika Nishikawa is thrilled to make her Chicago Symphony Orchestra debut in Once Upon a Symphony – Goldilocks and the Three Bears! She was previously seen on Broadway as Young Nala in Disney’s The Lion King. Her Chicago area credits include Mesmerized: A Ben Franklin Science & History Mystery (Chicago Children's Theatre), A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre), The King and I and Macbeth (Lyric Opera of Chicago), The King and I (Marriott Theatre), The King and I and South Pacific (Drury Lane Theatre), and Annie Warbucks (Theatre at the Center). She was a 2024 YoungArts Winner with Distinction, a semi-finalist at the 2023 NATS National Vocal Competition, and a finalist at the 2022 CS Music Vocal Competition. She loves reading and writing and has received awards from the EPA, US District Court, The New York Times, and more. Proudly represented by Gray Talent Group.
