CANCELED: Maurizio Pollini

Mar 31

3:00 PM

Sunday, March 31, 2019

We regret that the March 31 Maurizio Pollini piano recital has been canceled due to the strike by CSO musicians. Patrons holding tickets to this canceled concert are able to exchange their tickets for upcoming Symphony Center performances, may donate their tickets to the CSO, or may receive a refund. Ticket holders are asked to contact Patron Services at 312-294-3000 or by email mentioning your patron ID, concert date, and request. In addition, cso.org will have the most up-to-date information and updates for patrons about the status of future concerts.

With a long career of legendary performances, Maurizio Pollini returns to Symphony Center for a highly anticipated recital. “It’s the sense of being pulled forward that paradoxically gives Pollini’s famously tranced, beautiful sound its special quality. The back-and-forth between charm and something darker was riveting” (The Daily Telegraph).
