The Chicago Bar Association presents “ODE to JOY!”—Beethoven and more, featuring the Choral Finale from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 and music by Schumann, Mozart, Saint-Saens, and many others, performed by more than 300 lawyer-musicians and friends of the Chicago Bar Association Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, the DePaul Community Chorus and the Niles Metropolitan Chorus. It features winners of The American Prize in Voice Chicago Oratorio Award, pianist Neil Posner, clarinetist John Vishneski, violinist Sara Su Jones and conductors David Lazaar Katz, Stephen Blackwelder and Marek Rachelski. “ODE to JOY!” is a concert sure to be filled with joyful melody and song.
