Bach Marathon Finale

Nov 14

7:00 PM

Wednesday, November 14, 2018

Inspired by CSO Judson and Joyce Green Creative Consultant Yo-Yo Ma, the annual Bach Marathon includes performances of J.S. Bach’s six Brandenburg Concertos in community settings throughout the city and this finale concert at Fourth Presbyterian Church.

In the fifth iteration of this annual festival, the musicians of the Civic Orchestra will work to bring attention to hunger and food inequity in Chicago through volunteering and performing at food pantries on the city’s north, west and south sides. Please join them in this effort by bringing a canned or nonperishable food item to the Bach Marathon finale concert. All food items will be collected by Chicago Lights and will benefit people in need throughout Chicago.

Approximate concert duration: 164 minutes including intermission
