Renowned conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen leads Strauss’ wondrous Also sprach Zarathustra. The mesmerizing Bluebeard’s Castle, Bartók’s only opera, is performed by John Relyea and Michelle DeYoung, two of the finest interpreters of the roles of Bluebeard and his ill-fated wife Judith.
