Cécile McLorin Salvant applies an impressive range and dramatic flair to her inventive original songs and rediscovered musical gems. Don’t miss “the finest jazz singer to emerge in the last decade” (The New York Times). Pianist Bill Charlap’s virtuosic trio performs selections from their latest album Uptown, Downtown, as well as classic songs by Leonard Bernstein to celebrate the centennial of his birth.

There will be a postconcert CD signing with Cécile McLorin Salvant in the Orchestra Hall outer lobby.
