Join Grammy Award-winning organist Paul Jacobs and Frank Villella, director of the CSOA’s Rosenthal Archives, on Armour Stage for a lively conversation exploring Orchestra Hall’s mighty Casavant Freres organ. Jacobs, who currently serves as chair of the organ department at the Juilliard School, will also demonstrate the instrument’s extraordinary capabilities, anticipating his upcoming performances of Barber’s Toccata festiva with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
