MusicNOW: ON THE EDGE OF SILENCE

May 22

7:00 PM

Monday, May 22, 2017

The final concert of the 2016/17 MusicNOW season is an exploration of the 21st-century concerto. Closing the program will be a new work by Mead Composer-in-Residence Elizabeth Ogonek. The piece draws on Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber’s Mystery Sonatas as source material for a concerto for solo violin and ensemble.

Collect your limited-edition MusicNOW poster, specifically designed for this program, in the lobby after the concert. Only 100 posters will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis.

Special thanks to Artistry EngravingGraphic Arts Studio and Mohawk Paper for their contributions to the limited-edition MusicNOW posters.
