Musicorps®
“It will prepare you very well for jobs that will come your way down the road.” – Bill Buchman, CSO Assistant Principal Bassoon
Since 1997, selected groups of Civic Orchestra musicians have participated in MusiCorps®, a music education and advocacy program that gives musicians opportunities to teach, mentor, and perform at Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Park District fieldhouses, and other community venues throughout the city.
