Manhattan Concert Productions presents Vaughan Williams’s cantata Dona Nobis Pacem with the Masterworks Festival Chorus, the professional Elgin Symphony Orchestra and soloists, led by esteemed Guest Conductor Richard Bjella at Orchestra Hall, Symphony Center, home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
The concert will also feature esteemed American composer Z. Randall Stroope as he leads the National Festival Chorus performing a diverse and exciting program including the works of Telemann and Paulus, as well as some of Stroope’s very own works, Lamentations of Jeremiah, and Go Lovely Rose. Maestro Stroope is one of the most active choral conductors and composers working today.
