Though organist Cameron Carpenter wants to "divorce the organ from its long-suffering stereotypes,” he makes an exception for his latest project: accompanying the silent film classic "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari." "Playing organ music on Halloween probably doesn’t do that [reversing stereotypes]," he admits.
