The Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest

The Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest consists of some 90 musicians, both professional and amateur, from the Chicago metropolitan area. Jay Friedman is our music director and Maurice Boyer our assistant conductor.

Founded in October 1931 by Gladys Welge, we are one of the oldest community orchestras in the United States. We are excited to return to Symphony Center with the following choirs to present Mozart Requiem and MORE!

Students may receive a 20% discount as well as groups of 15 or more. Visit our website SymphonyOPRF.com for more details.
