MusicNOW: Boulez’s Workshop

Mar23
7:00 PM
Monday, March 23, 2015

As a tribute to the great French musician in the week of his 90th birthday, MusicNOW presents a seminal work by Pierre Boulez, complemented by a world premiere by Anna Clyne—a setting of the enigmatic poetry of Emily Dickinson. Mason Bates contributes a showpiece for solo piano exploring three different vices in sardonic, moving and virtuosic fashion.

Postconcert entertainment provided by Chicago symphonic electronica duo MEND.
