Once Upon a Symphony: Stone Soup
Saturday, October 19, 2013
A hungry traveler arrives at a village with nothing except an old cooking pot, arousing the curiosity of the townsfolk when she begins to make a pot of “stone soup.” One by one, the villagers contribute and enjoy the most delicious soup they have ever tasted!
Recommended for ages 3 to 5.
Each performance is preceded by preconcert activities, led by music educators from DePaul University, that prepare audience members for what they will see, hear and do during the concerts. We invite you to arrive at Symphony Center 45 minutes before each performance for these activities.
