MusicNOW: Vaporized

7:00 PM
Monday, October 21, 2013

English visionary Benedict Mason brings a multimedia work that scatters musicians around the hall in this stunning kickoff to the MusicNOW season. A brand-new work by Swedish iconoclast Anders Hillborg and an exquisite electro-acoustic piano solo by Irishman Donnacha Dennehy round out the program.

MusicNOW receives funding through a leadership challenge grant from Irving Harris Foundation, Joan W. Harris. Major support is also provided by Cindy Sargent and the Sally Mead Hands Foundation.

Preconcert music from Justin Reed (Freakeasy, illmeasures Chicago)

Postconcert music from Brad Miner — Live PA (Freakeasy, illmeasures Chicago)
