Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras (CYSO) opens its 66th season with a concert by the organization’s 125-member Symphony Orchestra. This French themed concert will feature the voices of Roosevelt University’s CCPA Conservatory Chorus & Chorale conducted by Cheryl Frazes-Hill. The choir will sing Gabriel Fauré’s Les Djinns and Francis Poulenc’s Gloria. CYSO Music Director Allen Tinkham will also lead the orchestra in Camille Saint-Sa?ns’ Bacchanale, Olivier Messiaen’s Demeurer dans l’Amour... ("Abiding in love") from Éclairs sur l'au-delà, and Claude Debussy’s La mer.
Tickets are $20-$50. Children 7 & under free. Reserved balcony and box tickets sold online. General Admission via phone & Box Office only.
Children 7 & under tickets must be requested via phone or in person at the box office.
