MusicNOW: Voices
Feb25
7:00 PM
Monday, February 25, 2013
Anna Clyne offers a world premiere for voices and chamber ensemble. Pulitzer Prize-winner Steven Stucky and Englishman Dave Maric offer intimate chamber ensemble works, and a phantasmagorical piece by Austrian Georg Friedrick Haas explores imaginative sonic terrain.
Don’t forget after every MusicNOW, hang out with the composers, performers and audience members while enjoying complimentary Exchequer pizza and Goose Island Brewery beverages in the Harris Theater lobby. Free to all MusicNOW ticketholders.
Pre- and postconcert DJ sets courtesy of illmeasures featuring Justin Reed (illmeasures Chicago / Freakeasy) and Chris Widman (abstract science / quadratic).
