Following Alisa Weilerstein's debut at the CSO’s 2009 Dvorák Festival, the Chicago Tribune praised the young American cellist for her "consistently lavish tone and remarkably assured technicaly facility..." She returns to Symphony Center with her recital partner Inon Barnatan in a program featuring Britten's Cello Sonata, written for the composer’s great friend, Mstislav Rostropovich.
